idk who needs to hear this but i find it insanely attractive when someone who initially doesn't get what they want decides to buckle down and grind in order to flip the outcome (note: they usually do) i find it insanely unattractive when they decide only to complain as if it'll flip the outcome (note: it never does)

agreed: there are 2 types of people: - high agency, they take accountability and just do stuff to change things - blamers, it's always someone or something else's fault, and the solution is to complain high agency people do a LOT better over time. It's a compounding quality

They also understand what it takes to get things done and therefore have more patience and empathy for others in the same role. That helps them build networks of success, while the blamers attract other blamers that perpetuate their cycle of grievance. You are the people you choose to surround yourself with.
