So it makes sense to me that Google, which derives most of its revenue from search, would find the advent of LLMs to be existential to its core business. But why do you think Meta is investing as much in AI, given that social networks are pretty sticky and wouldn't necessarily be impacted from a business model standpoint?

I could see FB AI facilitating more engagement on the platform, especially for people that don't have an active friend group. This is going to have profound impact on their business model. Virtual friends will be perfect for advertisers. Also, FB social data is going to be a treasure throve for LLMs of big brands that pay to gain access.
