the more I can escape people, the more I love "people"

Think of the opposite as well. Those that hate humanity, their collective destruction of the environment, their crawling about like ants engaged in less meaningful work.

And yet they enjoy a friend's conversation over fine drink or a party, bemoaning the state of our human civilization.

just fyi Friday I worked 8 hours in the same room with a man who was sniffling, not blowing it, the entire time. It is impossible not to hate man but it is possible to love humanity. It's just a matter of zooming in and zooming out.

That's why you need a lot of brothers, so you can handle humanity :P
