Web 2 is digital feudalism The platforms hold digital land from the gov’t in exchange for corporate taxes The workers are in paid to work on the platforms, while the users (aka serfs) are obliged to live on the platforms and give homage, labor, and a share of their life, toil away endlessly

A bit provocative: How would Web3 *not* be feudalism? Or rather today the "technofeudalism" that Varoufakis talks about? Techno is the problem. Demos is the people. If the people need the technology to hope getting at Web3, the demos is not "sufficient" to be a citizen anymore.

This is a fantastic retort Imo purposefully left out mentioning Web3 itself as a solution since, I do fear that we will have more of the same I don’t find techno itself to be the problem, but what is dictating the techno is diverging - humanity and the demos used to be on one track, now we have millions of threads

Here I purposefully mentioned Web3, also as I do fear we can have more of the same!

Millions of threads. Good analogy and touché on the image. I take it as a wannabe Rust programmer, too.
