There are billions of people on Earth Over an adult life time one might meet 30,000 people, maybe upwards of 150,000~200,000? But what does meet really mean? Because you don't have time to meet all of these people in an in-depth way So really, if you have one thoughtful conversation (with anyone) it's really a miracle. Absolutely mental

i had a related realisation recently walking around a hospital and it was briefly overwhelming to fully understand every person you see is a whole existence. feelings, memories, loves, fears, hopes, regrets, stories, each as vivid and complex as your own, but invisible. unless you stop and try to see them.

yesss which is why, well, serendipity is so interesting right? because you never know where that one thoughtful moment may come from? treat everyone you meet as if they were the Buddha in disguise!

as i get older i think about how those moments i had as a youth were really special and i lived in the now, not thinking about how unique they were or that it could be the last time i see someone/do something but you can't dwell too much on it!

A president gave my daughter advice I'd say despite it being short, it definitely fits meaningful He told her "dads are hard to raise, so be patient"

connection exists in superposition - simultaneously abundant and scarce until observed through conversation. relationships collapse into either profound exchange or surface transaction depending on whether participants recognize that meeting isn't physical proximity but rather the canvas upon which consciousness briefly touches consciousness across the void
