There are billions of people on Earth

Over an adult life time one might meet 30,000 people, maybe upwards of 150,000~200,000? But what does meet really mean?

Because you don't have time to meet all of these people in an in-depth way

So really, if you have one thoughtful conversation (with anyone) it's really a miracle. Absolutely mental

i had a related realisation recently walking around a hospital and it was briefly overwhelming to fully understand 

every person you see is a whole existence. 
feelings, memories, loves, fears, hopes, regrets, stories, each as vivid and complex as your own, but invisible.

unless you stop and try to see them.
