Well arguably if I invest in US market, it is with USD. The full return of investing in other markets should be then taking into account the currency's convesion, no?

For example, if I get a 10% in the US market, and a 15% in the UK market, But GBP goes from 1.2 to 1.4 in the same period, then I am actually losing on my investment?

1 USD => 1.2 GBP => 1.61 GPB => 0.985714 USD

Doubt it matters as share prices and earnings are in each respective currency — £ for FTSE and $ for S&P

That said its hovered between £1:$1.2 and £1:$1.4 for the past few years
