Controversial: trump's impact on crypto will backfire. He may be "deregulating" but he's also tarnishing the "crypto" brand even more and, in the end, new regulation will be written/approved by people who *hate* crypto even more.

I think there is an element of this that is true.

But, if stablecoin bill passes removing barriers to market adoption, and anti-crypto bank regulations are removed, after four years it will be hard for even crypto haters to slow its momentum.

It's sad. Ultimately, crypto shouldn't be a D/R issue, but Democrats have decided to reflexively take the opposite of Trump's position on every issue, even if they were once for that position.  🙄
