So I used to bring sweaters and scarves on flights because it was always cold. Now I find flights run hot. The first time I chalked it up cultural since I was flying to France 😂But now it's been this way on several domestic flights. Is this a fuel savings thing?

I agree, a few years ago a sweater and blankets would do... now youre just spinning the roulette.... Global warming? jk. Probably the fuel saving angle.

You nerd sniped me, so I had to look it up. You might be right! https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/24/travel/why-airplanes-get-hot-staying-cool-temperatures.html “airlines tend to favor using external air-conditioning units over auxiliary power units because they are comparatively much less expensive”
