Do you think the word "metaverse" has been corrupted to the point it can't be saved?

I think metaverse doesn’t really have a meaning. It was too broadly used for me. The internet, Telegram, virtual reality, blockchain metaverse - everything online & nothing is the metaverse.

I think this is part of the reason why so many metaverses in '21 went bust. The concept was far too broad and did not have a specific enough use case/user base in mind. In a way it really does feel like the dot-com bubble.
