Yeah exactly. It's just the best option available. That does not mean that it is good or desirable. But this is what we have right now.

For me, it’s an amazing explorer. Without etherscan, the blockchain wouldn’t be readable (aka other chains are not really readable) and all of the data & projects would be worth 0.

That said, the reading got more complicated with new developments like l2s and DEX aggregators.

It would be better if
1️⃣l1 tx hash was hidden
2️⃣trade overview was shown and the splitting of trades was hidden

From a UX standpoint, @onceuponxyz was better. And it's a simple concept really, as the flow of new users increases in an ecosystem, the level of technical literacy required to navigate should be lowered over time.

For example, just tell me what the transaction did, briefly. Then, if I am an advanced user, provide the option to dig deeper.
