I wouldn’t move there ever but it’s interesting to see what you can achieve short-term with a few incentives such as no taxes, good investment deals.

I believe many people go there for a few years to cash in and come back but maybe they’ll use these years well, attract business, some people stay around, others come, a unique flair establishes and it becomes a decent place to live/vacation one day.

There’s 130k people who are internationally recognized as modern slaves, in a total population of 10m people. That’s „worst ten“ globally.

Only looking at „a few incentives such as no tax“ is not at all doing justice to what this „success story“ is built upon.
