Really considering moving Witness The Draft to an L2: https://opensea.io/collection/witness-the-draft. 

Witnessing shouldn't cost so much money. Unsure what the best practices are. Anyone have any links/sources for moving/porting NFTs to L2s?

"Witness The Draft" is an art experiment combining provenance, on-chain dynamic social artwork, and a look into the documentation of the creative process.

The NFTs:
The "Witness The Draft" project consumes 30 days of on-chain logs, directly into a set of 30 dynamic on-chain artworks.

Each of the 30 pieces consists of 2 parts:
Its eyes and the daily log.

Each piece contains eyes in 5x6 grid with one eye open (at the start).
This initial open eye is different from the other eyes (a radiating pupil) and is located in the grid corresponding to the day.
The colour of the eyes and the positions of the pupils are all algorithmically generated from seeds that was chosen by me (the artist).

Witnessing:

This work contains a novel social mechanic where an owner can witness other pieces in the collection.
When one witnesses another piece, their piece will open an eye at the index of your piece.

My working assumption is that you create some kind of wrapper that re-issues it when transferred to it. Unsure. But, doing it one transaction would be nice/ideal. Not sure if there's routing for this? Have to dig in.

So a l1 contract bridge, that it burns it and messages l2 with a call to the  nft smartcontract that will mint on receive with the message and from sender

I need to create samples and simplify this integration (in Nethereum which may not be of any use..), I had a couple of years ago when op started and created the interop (which was a nightmare then and now is super simple).. It looks like people are taking advantage of the lack of knowledge on this. (Arbitrum too)
