Okay but have we considered Trump might get super salty when he watches the value of his token plummet when big traders dump their holdings just before his vesting unlocks and decides the industry needs to die?

This is the reality: someone has to lose. So either masses of new retail lose and hate crypto or the most powerful man in the world who is dead set on accumulating more power loses what he has on paper and hates crypto. 

Where does crypto win in this?

An anecdote, I have some friends that bought $50 of Trump coin and are having fun watching it go up and down, sending me screenshots of graphs laughing.

I think even if they lose it all they’ll have enjoyed the ride. It’s not a serious amount of money for them at all.
