I spent most of my internet life overthinking it and it wasn't until I was pseudo anonymous and a total noob that I was okay shamelessly asking questions and sharing things about myself. I've enjoyed it way more than lurking!

That’s the mindset I’m trying to have! Glad to hear it’s possible to make the switch :) gives me hope.

It's an ongoing process for sure, though the journey is as enjoyable as the destination, if there even is one! Writing in public really helps find your voice and arguably sharpens your thinking. Not so much for validating with vain engagement metrics but expressing thoughts in well crafted sentences. Enjoy the ride!

I think being kind of anonymous helps remove some of the anxiety for sure. Going to try to start posting more here and then hope it makes me more comfortable with being active other places.
