Farcaster community, what’s one thing, above all else, that you want to see in Social Media that currently doesn’t exist today? Let’s hear it 👇

It's less about what doesn't exist and more about what could use more balance. Less: bouncing around trends every few weeks looking for network growth hacks. More: nurturing long term communities/audiences and not capitulating to mandates because Q2 revenue isn't as good as Q1. In other words, what doesn't seem to exist is a long term vision that stays the course and doesn't try to become the "everything" app

Interesting perspective Adam. Everything apps seem to be in and likely here to stay, but community and audience seems to be where it’s at. Noted.

I understand there's not a one size fits all approach here. There are a lot of moving parts, but I'd be curious to hear what your thought process around this is at the moment? What do you feel is lacking? What do you think other platforms (including this one)could be doing better? Where as a user do you feel you're being underserved, and what do you feel is oversaturated?

I’d really like to see chronological order come back as opposed to algorithmic dispersion, and I’d also like to see a focus on more content from people you follow instead of rage or engagement baiting. It’s become too easy to create content that will garner a response where there’s so much value hidden beneath all that attention seeking. Would also want to see reach be a level playing field so that anyone has the opportunity to build an audience. Enabling more people to be social will increase the network effect of a platform and that’s what I want to see.
