hard to know what is average!

I do think many “regular” people will gain a basic understanding of why this thing is trustworthy/reliable/hard, why it can be a substitute for an institution. But that doesn’t require much technical knowledge.

on a scale of 0-10 with 10 meaning they will need deep understanding:

how much technical understanding of ethereum do you think the average onchain user will need by the end of the decade?

Only real solution is build more housing. Should have happened 10 years ago - every level of govt has failed us horribly. 

Under appreciated barrier in Canada is labour, which is often simply not available for rate we need to build.

How does Canada solve its housing $ issue?
