Ehh. How often does your average person use that term? It doesn't seem relevant to the day-to-day affairs of your average person. (yes, awareness of capture of the government by wealthy people is a valid thing to be aware of, but knowing the term for it doesn't help pay for groceries) This feels a bit "ivory tower".

It's used quite often to vilify people in OTHER countries (ex, Russian oligarchs). People are blissfully unaware of just how much influence the billionaire class has on politics here.
