My experiences with disputes have either ended with the merchant getting my money (i.e., the charge was irreversible) or were caused by a provider not cancelling my subscription and charging me because they had my card's full credentials (solved by crypto).

The existing dispute system is theater.

But I think the point is you CAN dispute those things and since you can’t in crypto you actually need a higher degree of trust
