ive been a founder for over a decade. i'm on startup #3 this year was the first time ive ever pivoted don't let SV psyop you. you don't have to be pivotmaxxing. you can stick with your original idea and build a successful business (even a high-growth one)

For sure! I鈥檝e found 2 main reasons for pivoting: 1) no promising future in the current direction 2) coming across a key insight into more promising direction through what I鈥檓 working on Type 1 pivots are hard. Type 2 pivots are easier

totally. pivoting is a spectrum. could mean anything from diff product idea to diff strategy to essentially diff company ive done plenty of 1, some of 2, and only one 3
