In leadership, to be early means two things: You start the process sooner, and you live with the risk. Knowing when to give yourself more or less time is an art + a science.

Here's one: Fundraising That process should start long before conversations with VCs – by being conservative w/ runway/burn, aiming for profitability, + developing authentic relationships with potential investors. Skipping these things can create urgency... stress... desperation, and in turn kill joy + creativity.
