i often find myself in a situation where i want to go down two (or more) different paths. and its a tricky choice because you lose all the context of that specific conversation. let me branch out

i would use it a lot. there are moments on which I really want to do it. in my experience it’s not about its memory but the context and flow of a given conversation

Yes and then optionally merge the result back into the main conversation. 

I've noticed that Gemini and chat gpt have gotten better at cross referencing other chats tho so maybe this isn't needed so much any more.
