i was thinking that the tariffs could actually help level up the field of the world, because if there is a blockage of economical energy from the us towards the world, the natural equilibrium will be that the world will have to talk more to itself, and that could eventually be a positive outcome... but who knows i don't really understand any of this

this depends on 2 things imo: 1) the rest of the world is just as capable as America. Some countries are many countries are not. America has an intense free enterprising culture that most countries lack and can’t develop outside of generational changes. It’s one thing to pump oil for money, it’s another to build break through research labs 2) the rest of the world continues down a freedom path with flowing global capital from the US. Possible but we need to realize that China might block this from happening. Wars, political games, resources restrictions, are all long term hindrances that could, without hyperbole, bring innovation back to the pace of the Industrial Revolution
