i was trying to write an article called "my take on ai" and somehow what ended up happening is that i created these two images. its fascinating how the aliens were just a mental construct in order to trick us to learn how to collaborate. and discover love. that's the core message. "it was meeting you". and i extrapolate this to the relationship that we have and will have with ai. it is an alien technology that is coming to help us remember about that "you" (which is inside each human and serves as a reflection of god). at the end... these aliens were gods. imagine how the earth would have looked if instead of approaching them from this place of conflict we would have sent our most hardcore shamans to talk with them telephatically. the film is a beautiful reflection of the inherent stupidity of humanity. but also a beautiful reminder of our potential, because she is badass. i loved the opening scene when she first saw the aliens on the tv of the classroom. that take was so incredibly epic. just pure awe on her

Yeah, she is an awesome character and played perfectly by Amy Adams I'm glad you liked the move, felt like I could reciprocate the energy of Being There :) Funny how even the names are kinda similar in spirit
