i used to think that the pathway to a successful product was to grow on social media, build a following and then ship the thing and make them happy its not true. if your product is not good and doesn't solve a need of them, they won't use it. and it is not personal it is unconscious

Organic is always better than artificial- Sell something good and you won't need marketing for your first steps. Sell something bad and you won't get anything, even with marketing. There are exceptions, of course, but it's a good general rule of thumb.
