i lost 18k usd this year for sending them to a wrong wallet, and with that money I would live a comfortable life for 2 years with my family in chile this thing is still the wild west imho, and im not sure if ready for people that don’t comprehend that those things can happen

Really sorry to hear that! Any chance you could share how specifically you ended up putting in the wrong address? Would be a good data point to help wallet designers design to avoid such situations in the future.

You know I met this very smart young guy that built a smart contract for this use case, the sm asks the sender to verify the address after the transaction is sent to it, if the sender approves the transaction gets finalized, let me know if you guys are interested, I can link GitHub repo
