lowest hanging fruit rn:

top tier programming tutorials for aspiring self taught devs, using farcaster as the playground where to teach them javascript with 0 to production code

why? because for working with frames you can do it with a simple express server. and teach them about basic programming concepts with that

and from there evolve to a client

and from there evolve to running a hub

etc

basically, farcaster is a playground. and PLAY is the vehicle neural pathways to be formed inside us with more strength

study the importance of play in the human experience

and play

that's all

it would be valuable for neynar to have simple and rate limited api key's for people that are tinkering with the protocol

the 10 usd tier could be a block for many aspiring devs that are looking for free tooling to test things out

do i pay for a tutorial or for 1 month of usage of something that i don't know how to use?

i didn't know about these, but awesome. i imagine someone like this guy crating a 5 hour full stack video of a farcaster client, frames, and every tooling imaginable and i believe it would be mindblowing

learn javascript and web3 from zero to hero, deploy an nft collection, everything. basically you can package all of these concepts into the flow of farcaster and it makes sense. it works, and if you are capable enough with your teaching skills it can be a killer

farquest has FOSS high performance api's.

pinata is basically doing this, wrapping some neynar endpoints in a generous free tier.

foss.farchiver.xyz lists free open Hubs, which themselves have APIs

building farcaster infra @ /neynar 🪐 casting @ /rish

but that api key is hidden to the user or not?

im thinking more of:

> new user creates a Neynar account
> they get a simple rate limited api that they can use on their code

it is different to run code on the docs than on the learning environment of a person that doesn’t know what they are doing

This already exists. Just use the api key on the docs site. 

(obv rate limited in a way it won’t work in prod, but does work for testing)
