The new Priority feed shows notifications is a combo of people you follow and people with a power badge. New notifs here are counted in the unread badge (red dot).

We’ve also added a bunch of notification-specific filters to make browsing easier.

If you don’t like this change, reply and tell me why. The more specific, the better.

fun that the word filters on your cast was translated to “noise” on my mind

but are they only noise? what will i miss?

if a tree fell on the forest and no one listened? did it fall?

(jk. if a person that cares replies and i don’t see it i will be sad. but I wouldn’t know lol, so i won’t (?))

not sure if i like it or not, but i don’t see myself clicking a button inside the notifications. that makes me think that i will never see what is inside the 4 other tabs

Unread notification badge, i.e. the red dot, is only for Priority feed now.

Fewer red dots, but higher signal.

please allow us to toggle the display of the bottom navbar. at least a hidden setting

i want to be able to use this thing without those red dots playing with my subconscious egoistic desires

that would be a killer SM feature

It will always be on the Priority tab.
