same reaction i get when a project says "we ran doom on-chain!" no you didn't. your chain can't even pass a thousand TPS without dying, it sure as hell can't run doom.

If I might chime in, Iād recommend the tour of go to see the basics: https://go.dev/tour Then try some of their tutorials: https://go.dev/doc/tutorial/getting-started Then if you wanted a project, I personally think building CLIs in go is a lot of fun. This framework makes it pretty easy to do: https://cli.urfave.org/ Another option might be trying to build a backend API, also a great learning experience.

yes, QCL is a subset of golang ā you basically get all the same features of the language (plus variable precision integers), minus goroutines, channels, and generics
