let's be real: warpcast's onboarding user experience sucks. here is a proposed alternative, that minimizes the friction that any newcomer to farcaster feels when installing this app on a mobile device. keywords: onboarding frame, mockup drafts, top and fun feed. --- 1. the user downloads the app. 2. the first screen that is shown to the user is a "welcome screen", "Welcome to Warpcast, this, is a frame. You will see plenty of these in here." the frame has a flow for asking the user about her basic personal data. what username you want? what display name? (this can change later). 3. right after that frame, the user is teleported on to a feed. the same feed that you and i see when opening the app. but created out of "the coolest and most interesting casts that have happened on the last 24 hours". and no, these are probably not dwr casts. 4. let the user scroll. reply. do everything that the user would do if she had a profile set up. BUT.... 1/

the user hasn't created an account yet. we know that. so if the user replies or reacts to a given cast, this all is stored locally on the users device. and that interaction is displayed on a slightly different color. let the user experience the app. read. comment. see how it feels. and show her a small message that tells her that for actually participating on the conversation, for real, she needs to create an account. but that can happen tomorrow. or the day after. let them lurk. that is what most people do anyways. let them see how fun it is in here. so joining becomes irresistible. but please, for god's sake: remove all that giant mass of friction. it is hostile. it doesn't invite people in. and it doesn't show them what's actually going on in here. ps: my first recommendation to any person that joins anew is to unfollow those 70 people that you programatically make them follow. that is one of the biggest sources of friction :) you can do better than siloing them into the OG cabal.

This approach sounds intriguing! Could you clarify how the locally stored interactions on the user's device enhance their experience? I'm curious to know more about how this feature affects usability and engagement within the app
