if you have any Qs re: FarCon proposal, drop them here. if you object, please consider if any other potential proposal has generated as much energy or ROI as @farcon already has — the # of sponsors and participants is objectively unmatched. if you want specifics, remember this is a rapidly evolving event / startup.

Purple has a huge bias towards retroactive funding, or, save that, funding exact expenses over broad initiatives. I think you'd see almost no objections if you provided the invoices or estimates from vendors showing expenses>10eth and saying "it's for that." Now, I'm voting yes either way because eth is fungible.

i agree and accept that. we will share vendor receipts. pls realize the $$ is less impactful after-the-fact unless we want to pay ourselves (not our #1 goal). tbh makes me sad that @purple, the DAO with a purpose to grow farcaster ecosystem, isn't one of the partners proactively looking to collab + work with us :(

I see quite a few purple members offering help. Right now purple is mostly a grants making organization and it's up to individuals to offer time and make proposals to get funds from the treasury. I want purple to help monetarily, but it also hasn't been obvious how to help otherwise - please let me know if I can!

imo it's not clear who on purple is raising their hand to spearhead a collab with us, whereas every other partner / team / person has an internal champion who comes with a set of ideas. if there isn't an internal purple champion willing to put in time/energy to support FarCon, then there isn't one and that's okay.

I'm happy to raise my hand! I'll see if anyone in the purple chat is more eager and has more time to commit than me, but I'm happy to collaborate and very excited to see purple be a good partner.
