why don’t people form small groups (3-5) around an interest, create a channel, and cast/reply to each other? it could: 1. amplify reach (shared audiences) 2. create richer, more dynamic discussions (shared effort) 3. build deeper connections maybe it feels like extra work or it’s hard to find each other?

I lost interest in posting often in /coffee because there was a while it was overrun with ai bots but I agree it was great and, looking now, seems pretty decent again

90% of the channels I posted to I cannot post to now because I would have to find the owner and ask them which I’m never going to do. If you look at Dune metrics for overall fc usage you can visually see the drop off date when FC channel changes happened. The app is a walled garden of walled gardens now. My usage is almost entirely just cross posting interesting stuff that happens on Twitter to here now on my own channel.

It’s been really hard for me to get my interest back in channels too 😬
