Something I learned from @fehrsam that has stuck with me constantly is not doing side quests as a founder Time and attention is scarce, you'll get invited to endless things / opportunities as a founder but vast majority just pull you away from the most important parts of building the company so keeping focus is key

I think that's the right general advice. However, it's also possible to end up with your head in the sand unaware of opportunities and technologies that would help your company. Like most things I think the key thing is to make side quests bounded and intentional.

As an example, I debated working on Courtyard or building a frame this weekend. I decided to give it the weekend, build a frame, and stop Sunday night. In doing so I learned about generating meta tag images that will be great for our user profile pages and got to understand what the big deal is about replit.
