If you are wondering why the stacked raw is green, it's because there are more green pixels in the bayer matrix of the sensor (twice as many) so the green cast is just a by product of the stacking process and very easy to remove.

Is there some expectation that what the final render looks like it what it would look like to the human eye if someone we could see it

It would look different to the human eye as we don’t see the colours. But modern camera sensors and especially astronomy camera sensors are able to pick up the colours. For example we can’t see narrowband wavelengths like hydrogen alpha. But buy using filters we can isolate them. Like the image below.
