Cap tables today are still stuck in PDFs, Excel files, SaaS private databases and legal workflows.
OCP replaces that with smart contracts, wallet-based ownership, and real-time compliance - already in production.

I think it boils down to incentives and inertia.

Regulation? Solvable. We’ve been operating under Reg D/Reg S with full legal compliance for years.
Education? Takes time, but once people see programmable equity in action, it clicks.

Honestly, the biggest roadblock is that intermediaries (SaaS platforms, cap table vendors, SPV-as-a-service shops, lawyers…) benefit from opacity and complexity.
Onchain equity threatens that model. It makes ownership transparent, programmable, and composable.

And let’s be real. Until just a few months ago, saying “blockchain” in the equity world was basically blasphemy. That’s finally changing.

This space will 100x. It just needs time and resilient builders on a mission.
We started @fairmint with my co-founder @thibauld more than 6 years ago. The stars are finally aligning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So sick. Curious, why do you think onchain equity / fairmint isn’t 100x bigger than it is today? Regulation? education? 

What’s the biggest roadblock? Where have you found the most PMF in terms of industries/usecases?
