Why do you think so? Bc Michael Vick should have got longer or because octopus are far less sentient than dogs?

I'm biased as a dog owner, and this is a complex topic.

A side discussion: I think that AI video with Jensen a week ago with the Disney robot means we will see semi-sentient AI fighting leagues soon, then we can argue on a completely new dimension about morality of human entertainment!

Interesting, so at some point we will want to program pain for realism/the quality of the event and you need to explore where the sadistic line is/ where is too far? Also makes you maybe confront the real issue here. Is the tipping point the cruelty aspect or is it the sentience.

like why we turned a blind eye on cephalopods when they are so smart, and if we are going to eat them it at least shouldn’t be a classy thing. Maybe it’s that they taste good that we compromise or that being non mammal makes it more ok, which really doesn’t bode well for the robots haha
