This year I skipped the London winter and spent a few months riding the Tour Aotearoa in New Zealand — can't recommend it enough.

I was in the country for three months, cycling for about two of them. About 4000km of riding all told over 35 days, plus lots of breaks, side trips and rest days. It's really an amazing place to cycle. The landscapes are wild, but logistics are relatively simple because towns are quite close together ...
