I was over the top with my boys tonight before bedtime

I feel embarrassed

Already apologized to them but there is no excuse 

Mostly I’m angry at how I acted when my wife offered to take over because she saw that I was frustrated

I apologized to her as well but damn

What you’ve done is role-modelled taking responsibility for your actions and healing a rupture. 

That is actually parenting gold. 

They see you doing that, it makes it ok for them to make mistakes and do the same. 

We need people who can admit their mistakes and make things right.
