Problem: all of these attempts to come up with an automated bot detection algorithm are unreliable and ultimately fail Solution: give me a pair of 👍 👎 buttons and let me use it to push/pull subgraphs of users towards/away from me Problem: people don't want to publicly 👎 Solution: replace 👎 with a Report Cast button that doesn't publicly publish my downvote, but still acts on it behind the scenes Hey wait a minute, this looks familiar...

Validate account via linkedin. I'd assume bots on linkedin don't make it too far? Or am I being naive haha

That's definitely happening with stuff like Gitcoin Passport, but I think it can still be gamed, and excludes a whole bunch of non-technical people... it's a tough problem for sure! https://support.passport.xyz/passport-knowledge-base/stamps/scoring-20-for-humans

yeah I was tryna remember what I had to do to prove I'm not a bot to get the Linea airdrop haha. It was pretty intensive and discouraging tho. Maybe getting PB users to contribute to labeling non bot accounts? Below suggest follows, a section where we can identify humans we know?

yup that's exactly what Warpcast is testing with 'show more replies' and 'report cast' now, and the extreme version is an idea for a $VOUCH token that @downshift.eth has https://warpcast.com/rjs/0xbffb2f8b
