Problem: all of these attempts to come up with an automated bot detection algorithm are unreliable and ultimately fail Solution: give me a pair of π π buttons and let me use it to push/pull subgraphs of users towards/away from me Problem: people don't want to publicly π Solution: replace π with a Report Cast button that doesn't publicly publish my downvote, but still acts on it behind the scenes Hey wait a minute, this looks familiar...

Validate account via linkedin. I'd assume bots on linkedin don't make it too far? Or am I being naive haha

The fail case in this scenario is that the user engages in a convo with a bot but canβt tell itβs a bot. Which isnβt a problem because of the direction and pace at which ai is developing. This isnβt about quality of your feed but another way to flag users as genuine. In fact me not following this user is me acting to not let it alter my feed but the user should still get the benefit of being a valuable contributor to the network. @deodad Iβm guessing this is already being accounted for in some capacity?
