Yes. As Tom Ford said, it’s your job to consume everything from the finest art to the trashiest reality tv to understand culture so you know where your business and brand fit. Consume across all niches.

I don’t think content consumption should be efficient, it should be curiosity-driven. You should wander.

If you’re doing your job right, you’ll be able to gather learnings from basically anything you’re consuming. There’s always something you can apply back to your work.
