We recently hosted the first episode of our meetup, "Nounsly", created to strengthen and empower the Nouns local persian community. ❤️ The event was structured into three sections: 1. Participants kicked off by introducing themselves and sharing their contributions in both the real world and the Web3 space. 2. Next, we engaged in vibrant discussions about Web3, the Nouns ecosystem, and addressed questions raised by the participants. 3. In the final segment, we explored /flows applications to benefit the Nouns community by curating newcomers. One of our key takeaways was a collective decision to support anyone with innovative ideas for the Nouns community who may need guidance to bring their concepts to life. 🫡💫 We’re here to not only have fun but also to learn, share, and grow together as proud contributors to the Nouns ecosystem! ⌐◨-◨ @rocketman @drgonzo @flowit

@rocketman @bixbite @mikegood I’ve participated in several Discord calls where Nouns holders discussed /flows , and I understand your concerns about this ecosystem and its acceptance of various projects. While there’s always room to grow, I noticed something missing in those conversations, the voices of the builders on Flows who are doing incredible work. Many of these creators are building meaningful projects that wouldn’t receive any funding, yet Flows is making a real difference for them. Their stories and contributions haven’t been heard. I believe Flows is a great gateway for Nouns. The ecosystem is more vibrant and dynamic, allowing for easier filtering of projects, supporting those that deliver while phasing out those that don’t. It’s a space where good ideas and committed creators can thrive. @drgonzo @flowit

How are we making Farcaster easier to understand for new people 1. We're still considering rebranding Warpcast (back) to Farcaster. If we do that, will have an FIP. It will be controversial, but initial feedback from most developers actively building on the protocol is they are a supportive (with the goal of increasing users on the protocol). To be clear: this is not final /decided. 2. We rebranded frames to mini apps. This is a more literal name and in line with other popular ecosystems like Telegram. This is easier to understand for new developers. 3. We're gradually deprecating warps. We here this feedback a lot—what are warps and why do I need them—and moving most of the functionality of warps to USDC is much simpler (as well as being more composable). 4. We're working on cheaper / free sign ups. A lot of potential good new users churn at the $3 to sign up screen. Our goals are to 1) make it cheaper at the protocol for other apps and 2) free on Warpcast with a verification (we pay the protocol).

I didn’t challenge this grant for personal reasons I fully understand the flows, and there are indeed projects focused on promoting nouns, utilizing noggles, and educating the community in the nouns athlete category, which are quite similar to yours. That said, if you believe the challenge was unjustified because you’re doing excellent work and even Rocketman supports you, feel free to resubmit the project. I don’t think my challenge was unfair; your flow aligns better with another category and was also missing updates. Still, keep up the great effort, and please don’t take it personally!

the challenge wasn't just for updates, the most important part was that this project is more fit on nouns athletes rather than meet ups. there are more projects similar to yours.
