Decided to go for the cheap, in-state online program with a solid reputation rather than pouring out cash for the brand name. I’d say it’s paying off.

the big reason why people in tech are anti-MBA is because they believe you can learn more by doing things on the job or as a founder since you’re already blazing your own trail, i’m curious: 1. why did you decide to do an MBA? 2. what classes have you enjoyed most? 3. do you feel connected to your MBA peers?

I don’t doubt this, I think the main critiques I’ve heard are cost vs benefit (eg paying 200k for a salary change of 25k per year that can be achieved through craft mastery instead of credentials) and misinterpreting the role of top school MBAs primarily as skill instead of network development
