Defendants Wang and others vigorously promoted the economic value and investment prospects of GUCS currency in Chengdu, Deyang, Meishan, and other places, using the form of recruiting people to develop downlines, resulting in losses of more than 29000 fundraising participants totaling over 1.7 billion yuan. Wang was sentenced to life imprisonment, deprived of political rights for life, and had all personal property confiscated.
