agree I may be fast by 12-18 months but it's coming quickly and I'd rather set ambitious goals :)

I am gonna out of lane and say that we won't see billion user until 25-26.

We are not there yet, being bullish is one thing but lack of infra/tool is holding us back.

It's gonna be same amount(+-fee M) of users for next few year, at least.

What would be the best way to identify/define an on-chain user? For the sake of this goal.
Would it just be
1. Non-custodial wallet?
2. On chain transfer of value?

The cascade in which builders happens I can sort of see. 

But the one that is unknown still is the cascade path of one billion users.

We dont need that much builders. Quality over quantity. Bad builders sucks the money from the good ones. 
Yes, some help to prove that the idea is not working as well..
