It’s an interesting take. But I think incorrect, cellphone services? Always had global components, and local construction and service. I bet if we add a bunch of locally produced services the graph would show the same. The reason local/global looks like it works is tech in general is globalised.

True, there’s a mix although I think you could make the argument that the drop in cell services pricing is partially dependent on the availability of cheap cell tower components and cell hardware which is all outsourced to China, India, Taiwan, etc Your 2nd paragraph is my thinking too 🙂
