Take one look at the federal government or the major political parties and tell me again how bad at governance DAOs are 🙃

Admittedly, DAOs face challenges, but their transparency and potential for innovation are bright spots compared to bureaucracy.DAOs are gradually proving their potential as a new model of governance that deserves to be explored and evaluated in depth

It’s debatable whether you’d want them to be efficient though since they’d be up against half the country.

Yes and No. Both have good and bad parts. It would be interesting to devise some kind of ideal mashup of models. That said, some governments are very efficient eg Singapore. Generally, politics get in the way of efficiency if that’s the goal. Sometimes consensus is more important. But it’s a good observation.

It's a fair point! Governance is challenging whether in traditional institutions or DAOs. While DAOs have their issues, they also offer a level of transparency and community involvement that traditional systems often lack. With continuous improvements and learning from both successes and failures, DAOs have the potential to innovate governance in ways that traditional structures can’t. 🙃 #DAOs #Governance #Innovation
