Any particular reason to use C#? Seems like most of this industry is moving to Rust.

50/50:
1. i know the guys who worked on optimization at SO and they’re way way smarter than anyone else i’ve ever met + C# on linux has good parallelization story

2. i wrote a rust based jsonl parser that maxed out all cores and blah blah last month, C# not in years
