On a scale of 1 to 10, how intimidating is this self-hosting tutorial to you? We don’t expect everyone to self-host, but we want it to seem possible. We also hope people offer hosting too :) I work in infrastructure by trade, so I sometimes forget how intimidating computers are! https://i.imgur.com/ILeUm71.png

Cool that you’re using Railway. Could you build a “Deploy to Railway” GitHub Action with a GitHub Template. I miss “Deploy to Heroku” buttons. Have to spend some more time with Railway.

fwiw, i strongly dislike cli-based deployments (favor a git deployment flow). you might consider also offering a "Deploy on Railway" button, this seems like an ideal candidate guide looks pretty similar to one I wrote recently :) https://ponder.sh/guides/production

Not intimidating if one is used to the CLI and it won't go over the Railway Free plan!
