Stray thought: leftists concerned first and foremost with social welfare programs may be more amenable to crypto than liberals obsessed with building state power. It’s not Bernie Sanders or AOC declaring a war on crypto like Warren has.

Unfortunately Bernie and AOC quit being leftists and joined the liberals in reinforcing the Empire rather than fighting it. I agree about leftists and crypto as a Green for 20 years myself, though it's certainly a work in progress. From my experience most Greens aren't against crypto's open source side, they're against the VC / billionaire side. I'm hoping if I can keep talking about how we need crypto because it's the best way people have devised to potentially replace the USD with a global post-imperialist currency, more will catch on.

And leftists concerned with limiting power through maintaining separations between governmental branches to avoid authoritarian strong-men of any variety. "Communist" and "Fascist" are a false dichotomy. Trump is really little different than Maduro.
